Surrounded by wonderful farmland as we are, it will be no surprise that we choose high quality local suppliers to provide the freshest ingredients for our menus.
Our style of cooking at Broom House can be described as British traditional with a touch of international flavours.
Maria uses only the freshest finest ingredients and of course from as local a source as possible. Fresh vegetables fruit and herbs are grown in the garden at Broom House and supplemented by local farmers. We have used the same butcher for 14yrs, beef and pork are locally farmed and game from local Estates.
Excellent fish is sourced from Whitby and included in our seasonal menus, with specials available depending on what the fishmonger has to offer.
The choice of homemade puddings are varied and alter frequently as we like to experiment with new sumptuous sweet recipes!!
Our restaurant design carefully blends contempory style with the traditional farmhouse accommodation and provide you with a cosy and intimate dining experience. Dinner is served by candle light accompanied by a warm open fire, or in summer you can enjoy alfresco dining on the patio. The views are spectacular and take in the open countryside and the Esk Valley.

Sunday lunch one two or three courses from midday until 2.30pm.
Our private function room is available to book for private meetings and parties every day.
The restaurant is fully licensed and we have an interesting wines list with varied prices to suite all tastes and pockets.
